Grown from
Passion & Purpose

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the earth — to the quiet miracle of a seed becoming something that nourishes people. Gardening has always just been part of who I am.

In January of 2026, I was laid off. It was the kind of moment that shakes you — but also clarifies things. Two weeks later I was rehired, but something had shifted. That brief window of uncertainty reminded me how fragile stability can be, and how important it is to build something of your own.

Leave a Seed was born from that moment. In February 2026 I built this website, and by March I had launched our Pinterest presence and set up our Amazon affiliate program — small but real steps toward something bigger.

My goal is simple: to help people grow their own food, become more self-sufficient, and to help end hunger one seed at a time. Because a seed isn't just a seed. It's potential, resilience, and hope all wrapped into one.

A layoff — and two weeks later, a rehire — planted the seed. That moment of uncertainty turned into a clear purpose: build something meaningful and lasting.
